Description
The Metro Birmingham Children's Business Fair is the premiere event for kidpreneurs in and around Birmingham, AL. For us, the Children's Business Fair is not an afterthought, it's what we do. Our mission is to ignite kids' imaginations so that they consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
These kids work their hearts out to showcase their products and services to the general public. We issued over 400 EventBrite tickets for our July 2019 fair and they all came for the purpose of shopping with our biz savvy kids.
Some kids have walked away with as much as $300 profit during the 3 hour event. This is our 5th fair and repeat participants step up their game every single time just like any other business owner.
The stakes are a little higher for spring. We normally award $50 to 4 prize winners (1 in each of 4 age groups). For spring, we're upping the ante to $500 and $250 based on points earned for participating in a number of requests, events and/or activities leading up to the fair.
For example complete and application to participate in the fair ($22 application fee required) and earn 10 points when accepted to the fair. Earn another 10 points for sending us a high quality photo. Participants earn 20 more points when you submit and introductory video and that's not all. There will be more opportunities to earn points.
The fair is free for consumers to attend, but free EventBrite ticket is required.
Plus at the fair, we'll have raffle tickets and both kid participants and consumers will have the chance to win some awesome prizes.
