Description
Bham’s Egg-cellent Egg Fest is Birmingham’s premiere Big Green Egg cook-off presented by AllSouth Appliance, DR Horton, and Alabev. Contestants will be competing in teams of four in 5 different categories: Chicken, Beef, Pork, Pork Ribs, and “Everything Else.” There will be live music, cooking demonstrations, a kid zone, and more for all the attendees to enjoy. The event will take place from 2pm-6pm in the parking lot of the AllSouth showroom:
This year we have chosen the Hope for Autumn Foundation and the Helena Miracle League as the beneficiaries. The Hope for Autumn Foundation provides financial assistance for families of Alabama battling childhood cancer, supports innovative childhood cancer research through the Developmental Therapeutics Program at Children’s of Alabama, a cutting-edge research and treatment program for children with incurable cancers, and increases community awareness of childhood cancer through the #givehope program in schools and businesses. All ticket proceeds from the event will go to Hope for Autumn Foundation to provide hope for families battling childhood cancer.
The mission of the Helena Miracle League is to provide for local children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to participate in a sports league; an experience that is otherwise usually impossible. The goal of the league is to foster friendships and bring enriching experiences not just to the special needs community, but to all who are involved. All raffle proceeds from the event will go to the Helena Miracle League.
