Grab a Grinch and Jingle bell hunt
DECEMBER 16-20
Oh no! The Grinch is trying to steal the magic of IMAX! He has hidden IMAX tickets to The Grinch and Polar Express throughout the whole museum! If you can find a jingle bell or a photo from The Grinch, take it to an elf at Ticketing in the Grand Lobby and you’ll be rewarded with one free ticket to see one of these holiday movies. The search starts on Wednesday, December 16th and runs through Sunday, December 20th.
- Limit: one (1) ticket per family
- Time: Dec. 16 – Dec. 20 during regular hours of operation

Polar Express Social
DECEMBER 18-23
We’ve got the hot chocolate and movie, you show up in your best and most appropriate holiday PJs. The Polar Express is showing in the IMAX Dome from December 18 – 23 and if you come dressed in your favorite pajamas, we will give you a cup of hot chocolate!
Virtual Visit with Santa
DECEMBER 19-20
Hey kids! Santa is in quarantine to prepare for his big flight on Christmas Eve night. Not to worry though! Santa’s IT elf Gabe is coming to McWane Science Center to set up a super special video chat line for you to talk to Santa! Make sure to bring your list and be prepared to answer one question: “have you been naughty or nice?”
