Quarantine Arts Education by Birmingham Children's Theatre (Online)!

March 24, 2020

At Birmingham Children’s Theatre (BCT), we know that great art can happen wherever we are with whatever tools we have available. For 72 years it has been our mission to Educate, Enrich, and Entertain, and we believe that extends far beyond the walls of our theatre. With that in mind, BCT has created a series of videos filled with history lessons, activities, craft ideas, behind-the-scenes footage, selections from BCT productions, and other ways to bring an integrated arts education right into the home! We hope these videos create opportunities to stay creative, productive, engaged, and connected while schools are out and children are at home with their families.

All BCT video content is completely FREE to the public and is updated every day on our website. Donations to keep BCT’s doors open, to keep artists employed, and to create more content can be made through our Save BCT Go Fund Me or at www.bct123.org/donate

Video topics include the History of Storytelling, Mask-Making, How to Write a Play, Choreography Challenge, Painting, Clowning and Comedy, Character Building, Puppet Theatre, Costumes with Repurposed Clothes, and so much more!
