So who else has lost sleep over this whole coronavirus thing? I just couldn't wrap my head around WHY everyone is freaking out over a bug that seems to be way less dangerous than the flu. My kids, especially my youngest (who can be a worrywart sometimes), have been asking me all kinds of questions about it. So last night I stayed up until THREE in the morning going down the coronavirus rabbit hole. The article that seems to have the best information (with cited sources) on why the coronavirus is different from other viruses, what to worry about, what NOT to worry about and how to prepare is THIS ONE. I'll let you read it and draw your own conclusions if you're interested. I do feel a lot better now after having done some research for myself. I think the best thing we can do is NOT act like the zombie apocalypse is coming. The best news about the whole thing is that kids seem to be at the lowest risk of getting a serious case. Thank goodness for that!
Macaroni Kid publishers around the country are working on articles to help keep your family safe from things like the flu and coronavirus and keep your kids happy if you get stuck at home for a while.
