Back! Home Sweet Home After Florida Adventures!

A Note From Your Publisher

By Jess Searcy February 18, 2020

I'm not going to lie. Taking two weeks off from the newsletter for our trip to Florida was nice. I just had my three-year "Mac-iversary," and I have only missed a week here and there. But I learned my lesson from our cross country road trip a couple of summers ago, that traveling, writing and publishing don't always mix too well. Especially when Wifi and 4G are spotty. And it was the same for this trip, so I'm glad I just made the decision beforehand to not stress, and be with my family 100%. Totally worth it. I hope you didn't mind too much.

Did you follow our trip on Instagram? I hope you were able to add a couple of new places to your family bucket list. I'm still amazed that we spent nearly two weeks in Florida and only went to the beach for half a day! There are so many places to explore! There's one thing about bucket list experiences though. Sometimes they are so epic, you want to do it AGAIN! I fell in LOVE with the manatees! Swimming with them is totally going back on our bucket list again. Having a baby manatee nibble my bum and chew on my fingers was just the coolest thing ever. EVER.

All dressed up for my nephew's wedding!
