How was your transition back to school and normal day to day life last week? Ours was not so smooth and the ugliness is extending into this week. The kids were NOT ready to go back to homeschool. Plus, I know the crazy weather and illness has been causing disruptions to everyone. Needless to say, I'm not really ready for a long weekend messing up our trying to get back to routine. But, it is good that we have a day honoring Martin Luther King Jr., so I will just have to suck it up won't I? Since our neighborhood friends will have the day off of school and I don't really want to take a day off from school, it may be time for a field trip day. The obvious choice would be a trip to the Civil Rights Museum. On MLK Jr. Day, it is free admission and there will be lots of fun extra programming. Will we see you there? Say hi if you see us!
