The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (For Me Anyway)

A Note From Your Publisher

By Jess Searcy January 7, 2020

Oh yes. I just LOVE, l.o.v.e., loooooovvvvvveeeeee New Years time. The holidays are over. All the fun was had. All the things were baked and eaten. All the surprises have been given. And now it's time for a fresh start. I always feel so energized this time of year. I feel motivated to declutter the house, deep clean, purge all the things. Even homeschooling feels like new after such a nice, long break. Today is our first day back (to school) and before the kids even got up I purged the clothes in my closet, did a new exercise routine and got our bedspread in for a wash.

I'm going to attempt to try this 91-day decluttering program again. I've done it before, but this time, I'm not going to try not to overdo and quit early. It is so hard for me to resist the temptation to deep clean and organize at the same time. I REALLY just need to declutter one thing every day and finish the challenge! It's FREE if you want to join in!

I don't think my 8 year old is ready to go back to school though. It is 10:30 am and guess where he is right now. ASLEEP. It's awesome that he can sleep in since we are homeschooling, but seriously. I'm ready to get this party started!

Do you love New Years as much as I do? Drop me an email (just reply to the newsletter) or message me on Facebook. You know I'm always wondering if anyone ever really reads this note to the publisher article.
