There's no better way to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season and the return of Santa's scout elves than a special "Welcome Back Breakfast" at IHOP, November 29th through December 1st, and featuring the new The Elf on the Shelf menu! Kids who visit participating IHOP locations during #ScoutElfReturnWeek will receive a special Elf-themed activity sheet. If you can't visit during #ScoutElfReturnWeek, don't worry! The Elf on the Shelf menu is available now until January 1st, 2020.

There is something for even the pickiest eater in the family on The Elf on the Shelf Menu, which includes Jolly Cakes, Oh What Funnel Cakes, Holiday Ham & Sausage Omelettes, Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate and the Little Elves Combo. Check out the details below!
The Macaroni Kid South Birmingham kids got a sneak peek of The Elf on the Shelf menu at our local IHOP in Pelham, Alabama. The first thing that came out from the kitchen was their Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolates. Evan's eyes widened to Christmas saucers when he saw it coming! He was definitely impressed with the size. They let me have a taste and the marshmallow flavor is super yum.
They both scarfed down their Little Elves Combo (we all like a sweet and savory breakfast when we go out to eat). I asked them what they liked the best, and this is what they said.
Evan: "My favorite thing was the funnel cakes!"
Cole: "Me too!"
I have to say I agree, but they wouldn't let me have more than a teensy bite! Where is the grownup The Elf on the Shelf menu?! I want funnel cake for breakfast too!
The guys always love the kids' menu at IHOP (the Funny Face Pancake is always a hit), so it's no surprise they loved The Elf on the Shelf menu. And the kids getting to eat for free is a treat for us! You get one free kid's meal (up to $4.99 or $4.99 off your bill) for each adult meal purchased, everyday from 4 - 10 pm, now until January 1st, 2020.

Special holiday traditions are what make this time of year so fun for our family. I think breakfast for dinner at IHOP when the elves return is going to have to be added to the list! I mean, you can't beat funnel cakes for breakfast OR dinner, amiright?
