The Macaroni Kid South Birmingham kids got a sneak peek of The Elf on the Shelf menu at our local IHOP in Pelham, Alabama. The first thing that came out from the kitchen was their Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolates. Evan's eyes widened to Christmas saucers when he saw it coming! He was definitely impressed with the size. They let me have a taste and the marshmallow flavor is super yum.
They both scarfed down their Little Elves Combo (we all like a sweet and savory breakfast when we go out to eat). I asked them what they liked the best, and this is what they said.
Evan: "My favorite thing was the funnel cakes!"
Cole: "Me too!"
I have to say I agree, but they wouldn't let me have more than a teensy bite! Where is the grownup The Elf on the Shelf menu?! I want funnel cake for breakfast too!
The guys always love the kids' menu at IHOP (the Funny Face Pancake is always a hit), so it's no surprise they loved The Elf on the Shelf menu. And the kids getting to eat for free is a treat for us!
