Thanksgiving Writing and Artwork from our Wonderful Macaroni Kids!

Local kids tell us what they are thankful for this holiday

November 21, 2017

Macaroni Kid South Birmingham received some awesome local kid artwork and writing for our "Thankful" contest this year!  It is all so good, we had a hard time picking just three to get a prize.  SO, everyone will be getting something.  We will draw 3 random winners to get a one hour jump pass from Sky Zone of Hoover, and the rest of you will also get a surprise!  Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talents with us.  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families.

Thanksgiving from a Turkey's Point of View
by Haley S., Age 10

Please don't eat me for Thanksgiving Dinner. I will be your best friend and serve you. I am the only member of my family left. My mom was eaten at Thanksgiving last year. My dad was shot during Turkey season two years ago. Bob my brother got made into dressing. My sister, Goblet, was ran over by a car. My skin is so dry because I don’t use moisturizer, so I would taste like an old tire. So you see I am worth more alive than dead.

I Am So Thankful For My Family
by Zaiderick Hayes

I am thankful for my mom who loves me and take good care of me. Even when she is sick. My grandfather who works every day for our family. He makes sure I have food, clothes and a place to live. But most of all he spends time with me. He is my Dad. I am bless by GOD. My talents, health and family. This is my greatest treasure of all. And I am grateful and thankful.
